It seems that the States should be required to verify that every recipient qualifies.

  1. Which is worse providing food assistance to a family that might be able to scrape by without it or denying food to a family that needs it and that results in hungry kids.
    I don't have a problem with making the snap program slightly generous in ensuring that no one goes hungry. I think it is a bad idea to kick millions of families out of this program.

    I did not get any answers...

    What I learned is that people will need to apply and be approved for financial food assistance.

    Why is this not acceptable?
