At Challenging GOP Hypocrisy. Chris has been on vacation and last week Dana Perino was a push over. This week Bret Baier did a much better job.
Sen Rick Scott was criticizing the Infrastructure bill and trying to play a deficit hawk after supporting Trump's MASSIVE DEFICITS. I get SO TIRED of these HYPOCRITES.
The REALITY is that Trump and the Republicans did it again while they were in power. They increased spending, did nothing about entitlements, cut revenues and blew up the deficits / debts. And almost NO ONE in the Conservative media is willing to call them on it. So... Thanks Bret !!!
Charges of hypocrisy never work against Repubicans. For one thing, Republicans just don't care about them. Democrats, on the other hand, do and as much as we try to maintain a stiff upper lip in public when they are made, every time they are levelled we go home and weep bitter tears over them. We know we shouldn't be hypocrits, but we just can't help ourselves. It's our version of the human condition.

Hiram,
ReplyDeleteYou are probably correct, the Trump GOP does not seem to care about the truth or facts anymore. Just talking points.
"When DEM is President, deficits / debt matter."
"When GOP is President, what deficit / debt?"
Jonathan Swan also does a great job !!!
Facts are their enemy. That's why they attack messengers. That's why they want to talk about credibility. It's why they love to talk about hypocrisy. They know that if they are successful in dismissing someone as a hypocrite, they can avoid dealing with what they have to say.
