Trump Begs Mace and Boebert

I am really wondering if MAGA voters would care if Trump was inappropriate with minors? But Trump sure is worried that they may...

  1. This is the one issue on which many Republicans are willing to oppose Trump. I assume they are willing to do that because they have at least some support from MAGA voters. It is tempting to say that Trump has handled this issue badly, but it is hard to say that because we don't know what Trump know, or what Trump knows about what he doesn't know.==Hiram

  2. I think we are lucky that some of the GOP women are sensitive to the topic.

  3. With the Epstein files back in the news for one day I am already tired of it. I would like to see whatever dirt there is about Trump to come out, but the process of getting it out moves too slowly. If he has victims that were underage I wish they would speak out. He definately knew what was going on at a minimum. Laurie

  4. Trump is a sleazy guy who comes from a sleazy underworld. I think both Trump supporters and Trump opponents always understood that. He is nobody's role model. Nobody wants their kid to grow up to be like Donald Trump. Nobody studies videos of "The Apprentice" for insights on how to run a business. That is, curiously, something he has always had going for him. As someone else said this morning, the Epstein thing is chronic. It flare up and it will recede, but it will never go away. There is just so much of it, and so much of it is true. Trump is a lame duck, more of a lame duck as each day passes so it doesn't matter that much for him. What does matter and what remains to be seen is the impact it will have on his party, the party which wants to campaign on morality and integrity.--Hiram

  5. Does maga agree with Trump that prominent Dems should be investigated or do they want all of the files released. It is going to be a long time before the files are released (if ever.) I think the process even involves overriding a Trump veto of a future bill to release he files (if it gets that far.) The issue is hard for me to follow. Laurie

  7. There was an article in the Times the other day by a reporter who had been going over the Epstein emails about how they were an expdition to the past. So many of the names mentioned were once important figure in popular and NYC culture are now gone. Trump is after all, 80 years old and the tabloid media culture in which he came to prominence is now gone. Talking about pursuing Democrats involved with Epstein reminds us of that. He can talk about going after Clinton, still someone Trump broods about but for the rest of us, Clinton is a figure from the distant past. Talking about Bill only reminds us how in many ways Trump is an anachronism.==Hiram

  8. Trump as businessman was something that existed in the 1980s and 1990s. Back then, he was often in the news talking about huge projects in NYC he would never manage to build, Television City on the west side being a main one. The building he did manage to get done was casinos in Atlantic City. Viewed with hindsight, Trump's operations in AC were classic blunders. He entered a mature business, full of competitors who had wide experience with and deep understanding of the business. When you think about it gaming, is a low margin business. Most of the money the house takes in is paid out. The advantage is that although they may be small, if the business is done right, the profit margins are certain guaranteed as they are by the laws of numbers. But what that means more than anything is that ,numbers must be done right because there is little margin for error. Trump famously doesn't do numbers. He went bankrupt, and disappeared from the real estate industry.--Hiram

  9. Currently, The Trump Organization is engaged in building huge real estate developments in Saudi Arabia. Trump is about to meet the the leader of Saudi Arabia. Could the corruption be any clearer, any more transparent?==Hiram
