GOP 2024 Platform is Non-Sense

Can't cut inflation with tax cuts, tariffs, spending more on military, deporting low wage workers, etc.

All part of Trump's past fiscal disaster.

  1. The growing national debt is clearly a problem, but not at the top of my worries about a Trump presidency.

  2. Pretty much everything Republicans favor in the area of economics would lead to higher prices. Often the point of what they want to do is to raise prices.

  3. Republicans have pretty much abandoned the national debt as an issue.

  4. That is what I am thinking...

    Trump will cause higher inflation...

Then he will complain when the FED raises rates...

  5. So much of what Trump proposes in the economic sector isn't just inflationary, it is intended to be inflationary. The whole point of protectionism is that it reduces competition, allowing business to raise prices.

  6. I am focused on a bigger picture of how terrible a second term Trump presidency would be. I do believe a large groupof economists have criticized his economic plan , as much as he has one.

  7. I am not sure it would be much different the first one...

  8. I think the competent people around him in the first term limited the damage he did. I think he will have competent people around him ina second term helping him carry out an extreme agenda. If Dems win the house and Senate that should at least slow him down.

  9. It is too bad the DEMs let SO MANY asylum seekers in during the past 3+ years.

It gave the GOP a big opening...
