Second lady Karen Pence said Thursday that Vice President Pence had been unaware of the Mayo Clinic's policy requiring all visitors to wear a face covering until after he left visiting the facility on Tuesday.
Let me see... Literally everyone around me has a mask on. "I didn't know it was a rule?"
So yes, either he is an idiot or a liar... Since he is a politician... Likely both... :-)
Mayo had already came out saying they notified his office of the policy when arranging the visit. His answer was that he wanted to be able to look them in the eye to say thank you. Not sure how a mask over his nose and mouth prevented that, but heh, I'm not a scientist, nor a person who doesn't believe in evolution.
