Not so much panic as bemusement.
ReplyDeleteAs a successful white collar criminal, Trump was very aware of the importance of not leaving a paper trail. That's why he didn't use email, it's why he didn't allow notes to be made in crucial meetings. It's why he tore up documents. Trump took advantage of the widespread belief out here in the world that if there is no evidence of something happening, then it didn't happen. I don't know why people believe this but they do.
My understanding is the documents were removed from the White House.
