Trump's Pointless Attacks

WAPO Trump Attacks Sharpton

I thought these tweet was humorous and ironic. I mean if anyone knows about con men who are looking for a score it would be Trump...

“I have known Al for 25 years,Went to fights with him
& Don King, always got along well. He ‘loved Trump!’
He would ask me for favors often. Al is a con man,
a troublemaker, always looking for a score.
Just doing his thing. Must have intimidated
Comcast/NBC. Hates Whites & Cops!”

And since Trump seems to hate Blacks and poor people, they seem similar.

I keep wondering why Trump tweets these things.
Is he determined to alienate folks like me?

Is distracting us from his bigger problems worth it?

Maybe this is why Trump is scared...  His kids using personal devices for government business after Hillary's mess...

July 25, 2019  Most recently, the president’s daughter and son-in-law, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, came under fire from Cummings’ committee, as the panel voted to subpoena all work-related emails and text messages sent by White House officials using personal accounts. The couple have both admitted, through their attorneys, to using such accounts for government work, which might violate federal law. The documents were first requested by the committee when it was under Republican leadership.

Trump's tweet about Al Sharpton is kind of amazing. Al is a bit of a con man, and Trump seems to have gone out of his way to remind us that the milieu of con men is what he, himself comes from.

The other thing Trump is reminding us of, is that America likes con men, particularly in times of distress. More than anything, that's why Al Sharpton is on TV, why Donald Trump is our president, and why the musical isn't called "Marian, The Librarian".
