Though I do feel for the asylum seekers, I still appreciate them being sent directly to areas where people say they want to give them sanctuary. I wonder if the wealthy DEMs opened their mansions to their uninvited guests? Or at least hired them to maintain their yards and gardens?

It seems to have worked out well for them. Florida has a lot to learn from the good people of Martha's Vineyard.

If you were shipping illegal aliens to Massachusetts, why would you choose Martha's Vineyard. Wouldn't you think there were other places in the state better able to absorb the new population?

Did DeSantis work in good faith with those folks? Did he talk to Massachusetts state official about what his plans were? Did he demonstrate care for the people he worked for, the people it was his job to serve as governor? What did he say on the Sunday morning news shows? I am willing to give the man a fair Hearing, listen to what he has to say. I don't think the first step should be a criminal investigation.

Obviously, Massachusetts has the same obligations and choices as florida.They mus care for and protect the people under their jurisdiction.
I watched the Holocaust documentary last night. Obviously the parallels between DeSantis and Hitler and DeSantis were strong. Hitler, like DeSantis tried to deport a population he didn't want. Fortunately, the people of Massachusetts accepted them. The United States in the 1930s did not.

Given the increasing evidence that the DeSantis administration broke federal law by trafficking these folks under false pretenses, I think the time to wait for a proper explanation has expired.

Unless you plan to accept and give a "path to citizenship" for every person who can make it to our border.

What is your idea about what to do about illegal immigration? Should we keep adding on to Trump's wall?
I am somewhat indifferent regarding the wall, however they are useful in more densely populated or easy to cross places.
I think we need to negotiate with MX to ensure they can serve as a safe 3rd country, so asylum seekers can stay there while the courts work their cases.
It is insanity to let them all in when 90% of their requests will be denied. Most of these folks are poor, not persecuted.
By the way, if he broke the law... My view will be different.
Especially if he picked them up in Texas. :-O
There are a lot of federal criminal statutes, and it's hard to definitively say that any given act doesn't violate any of them. As a general rule of thumb, the way to a avoid criminal liability or at least prosecution for a crime is to not do bad things.
