Maybe it is not as big of an issue as the Right makes of it?
Or are they willing to "risk the security" of citizens for a sound bite?

Trump seems to forget the welfare of real people is at issue. Many politicians have a distressing tendency to see their policies in macro terms, not in terms of how they actually affect individuals.

It is definitely frustrating how people put politics ahead of fixing things.
Especially as they complain about it not being fixed???
