A man who pardoned ~1,500 seditious citizens, just threatened citizens with death for speaking out and reminding the military to follow the laws of our country. You can not make this insanity up.
Who still supports this nut case?

I thought the Supreme Court's decision granting the president immunity from prosecution for criminal offenses was the worst, and possibly most disastrous in its possible consequences decision since Dred Scot. The ramifications are deeply hideous.
One of those ramification is, at least as the law stands now, is that while the presdient is exempt from prosecution for the orders he gives, those to whom he gives them are not. This is something that must be understood by all those under presidential authority. It should be printed in bold letters on the front page of the employee handbook. It is something the president must be understand and be aware of at all times. It appalls me that our president doesn't understand that fundamental legal issue at all.==Hiram

Back in 2015 I spent months commenting about what a terrible president Trump would be and he turned out to be less bad than I expected. Now, nearly 1 year into his second term, he has been much worse than I ever imagined. He does seem to be getting weaker, but I expect he will lash out more with unpredictable and dangerous behaviors. -- Laurie
During my substack reading today I came across this summary of Trump's second term:
--"Nor has he acted alone in his pursuit of a lawless agenda and wide-ranging abuses of power. These include (but are not limited to) gutting the federal government, demanding revenge prosecutions, engaging in extrajudicial killings in international waters, extorting law firms and universities, attempting to turn the U.S. military against American citizens, and empowering masked and abusive federal ICE and border agents to grab people off our streets without due process.
In addition to the Epstein files obstruction, this week Trump added to his abuse by inciting violence against six Democratic lawmakers who urged members of the military in a short video to refuse illegal orders; he called their actions “seditious behavior” that is “punishable by death” and urged their arrest. Unsurprisingly, these senators and representatives have faced a deluge of violent threats, causing them to seek police investigation.
Recall that Justice Sonia Sotomayor warned us in her dissent of the 6-3 immunity ruling in July last year. ‘This new official-acts immunity now ‘lies about like a loaded weapon’ for any President that wishes to place his own interests, his own political survival, or his own financial gain, above the interests of the Nation,” she correctly stated, adding, “Let the President violate the law, let him exploit the trappings of his office for personal gain, let him use his official power for evil ends. Because if he knew that he may one day face liability for breaking the law, he might not be as bold and fearless as we would like him to be. That is the majority’s message today.”----
- With more than 3 years left in his term, complete destruction of the country seems likely, unless he loses some support from maga and many republican in congress step up.-----Laurie
