Imagine living and working here for years or decades to be sent back to unsafe countries. Image being a child who knows nothing about that country or its language. The supposed Christians sure are NOT doing what Jesus would do.

What strikes me is how casual so many of us are in our cruelty. When we criticize policies that separate families, disrupt lives, turn neighbor against neighbor, policies that hurt all of us, the brutal response is that they knew the rules when they came here. Maybe to some extent, they did. I am sure some of the boats that made it here from Haiti included lawyers.But should that be what matters now?==Hiram
History has shown that many humans can become monsters in certain circomstances. What drives me crazy is that it is the supposedly "Christian" folks who are brandishing the pitch forks in this case...
I mean Jesus could not have been clearer about how we were to treat our down trodden and in need neighbors, and yet these self righteous people just ignore his teachings. :-(
