I often wonder if our selfishness is propping up the economy and stock market to the detriment of our children?

In Key West, they have to replace the pipes that bring water to the island. It will cost a couple of billion dollars, conservatively. A couple of years ago, they could have borrowed the money for free. Now it will cost them a pretty hefty amount in interest. You may not be ble to borrow your way to prosperity, but nothing in Key West is worth very much without water.

Intrastructure spending usually pays for itself over time...
A lot of the government spending does not...
