Kitchen Table Economics and Natl Debt

This sounded kind of familiar...  Any thoughts where this potential train wreck is headed?

I always enjoy leading teams when they run into significant hurdles, people are fixed in their view of reality, and the end of the train track comes into view.  It is at these times when the team members usually pull their heads out their lower extremities and some "Creative Conflict" takes place...

Remember that it is hard for teams to truly "Perform" until they have successfully passed through "Form", "Storm", and "Norm".   Wiki Team Dev

about the potential train wreck, it's been my view for awhile that the far right wingers would eventually listen to wall street and Chamber of Commerce lobbyists. Not so sure anymore. I don't think it will be resolved until there is some type of significant consequence for inaction (financial markets, credit rating, or other stuff I don't understand well.) I think the debt ceiling will be raised before ss checks are affected and the fed govt shuts down. Small(ish) package of spending cuts with no tax increases seems the mostly likely deal to me.
