As an FYI, the board voted to contract out. The decision to go with a specific contractor has not been made yet.

Mark,
Thank you for the correction. I'll fix the post when I get to a computer.

personally, I'd like to know what the plans are with this money that we are saving. The board keeps saying it will go in "the classromm." Well what does that mean? More teachers and if so where and what subjects? Or are we going to throw the money at pensiona nd benefits? Or are we going to hire more assistants to the assistant.

I agree that it would be nice to know where it is going. Though I expect about as much transparency and clarity as usual. Though I also understand that report activity based costing is very challenging.

Sorry for my typing mistakes.....it was late and I was tired.

I think if RAS would have explained to the citizens;

Why they need to so this?

Where is the money going?

What are the consequences of not contracting out?

Instead the board just says it will go in "the classroom."

My guess is that it will just be thrown in the black hole of pensions and benefits.

I agree that it would be a great Public Relation move.
