The point of the Republican campaign against what they claim to be voter fraud, has little to do with voter fraud itself. They just want to make it more difficult for Democratic voters to vote. To be perfectly fair, their desire in North Carolina to make it easier for Republican voters to vote or indeed, make it so they don't vote at and have their votes still counted is not inconsistent or hypocritical at all.

Basically, a lot of Republicans feel they free are to do bad things because they think they are on God's side and that God will forgive them.
