LA Times Censure Better Option

And of course Hypocrite Trump is back at it again, the man who refused to testify for the Mueller investigation and the Impeachment investigation saying the he wants people who were not involved in this summer's questionable activities with regard to Ukraine to testify.

And of course he is trying to convince people that "Ukraine announcing an investigation of the Bidens" was for the good of all Americans...  Really!!!  Who are these suckers who still believe him?  :-)

The problem with Censure is that it is meaningless. With impeachment, the Senate is all but required to conduct a trial. The Senate doesn't even need to acknowledge a House Censure vote.

At this very moment, Rudy Giuliani is out on the hunt for Biden-related stuff from foreign officials. The only way to stop this misbehavior is to remove Trump from office. Anything less than that is insufficient.

The reality is that unless more smoking guns appear, the Senate is going to bury this and Trump will be able to claim that he was exonerated in a "fair court".

And he will maybe be able to drag down "Biden and Son" in the process.

The only upside I can see is a slight blow to his ego. The fact that he was "impeached" by the House going into the History books.

Maybe the Senate Trial will not be a total farce
