More Public Gatherings and 1 Million Americans dead... Guess what is coming AGAIN... :-O
Today I made an appointment at my local CVS and got my second booster.
I am happy that I am not old, immunocompromised or unvaccinated.... :-O
Let's hope the new strains are not as deadly.

There comes a point during any pandemic that we just decide to live with it. We redefine it as chronic. We remind ourselves that everyone has to die of something. We choose ways of looking at it that minimize the effect of the pandemic. We convince ourselves that a million deaths really aren't that many when you think about it, especially when most of those folks had something else wrong with them too. We, the survivors, think to ourselves, we survived because we had immunity, or because of we are of the right herd, or because God loves us with a special love.
As I say, these changes are inevitable. We just hope they come at a point where the pandemic truly is within manageable bounds, whatever we decide those should be.
