Will GOP Voters

Pick the woman that can win?  Or will they keep supporting the philandering self serving criminal loser?

People say they want a younger candidate who can win.  Haley seems to meet those requirements.  Unless the GOP is not ready for women leaders?

Reminder: I am a life long Republican who will NEVER vote for Trump again...  And there are A LOT of folks like me out here.  Trump will lose again if he is the candidate.

Republicans have chosen a candidate who wants to be immune from the application of the rule of law. In legal terms, before a court, that is contrary to any law I know, a sure loser. But if that candidate wins, we can be sure that the Justice Department under his control will be directed not to enforce the law against the president or his family. There will be no prosecutions of presidential children such as we have seen under the present administration.

It is an interesting phenomenon that Republicans have no problem with this. A party committed to limited government, wants to give unlimited power to a president. It isn't even an issue for them. Just try to get a Republican elected official to comment on it. It tells us a lot about how shallow our commitment to democratic values. I wonder if it has always been this way.

The hypocrisy does leave me very confused...

I assume it has always been like this to some extent.

Unfortunately with so many people moving to the Far Right and Far Left, it is more noticeable...

Republicans don't have hypocrisy issues because they don't stand for much. They can complain about the glass being either half empty or half full, depending on the circumstances because they don't take a position on what should be in the glass at all.

Abortion politics has been interesting. I thought being pro life meant being anti abortion. Not my position, but a reasonable position and I understand the logic behind. Now, numerous
Republicans are saying they want to compromise on the issue. I mean, if a compromise was what people wanted, I don't know what was all that about Roe v. Wade. The problem is that Republicans and pro lifers knew very clearly what they were against, what was in their interest to be against, once they succeeded in knocking down Roe, they had no idea of what they were for. But since they now have no position, at least they aren't hypocrites on the issue.

I disagree... I see them as hypocrites in most policies...
