And the documents case should not be delayed, he was not President when he refused to give back the documents.
And if he is a good rich law abiding citizen, why is he not paying his fines?
And who would go into business with Trump? Another law suit added to the list.

The Supreme Court did the most they could for Donald Trump. Trump's legal position is not just without merit, it would be disastrous if the court accepted it. In my opinion, the fact that the Supreme Court accepted the appeal, giving it credibility, was a disaster all its own.
However. In our current politics, what the Supreme Court decides doesn't matter. If Trump wins the election, as now seems likely. we will have a president, the man who is charge of the enforcement of our laws, who believes he is above the law. The courts will be irrelevant because the deweaponization of the Justice Department won't give them anything to decide.

I accept the electoral college. But it's also the case that the American people did not get the president they chose. And among other things, the electoral college failed in its mission when that entity allowed an unfit person who lost the vote to become president.
