Yes.. Trump started Easter Sunday by threatening to bomb power plants that millions of civilians rely on for electrical power and clean drinking water. (ie de-salinization plants) Why are we allowing a thug like Putin run our military? And all this death and spending for oil and Israel. Our Risen Lord must be mortified...

The best argument against Christianity has always been the Christians. What you can you say about a religion that holds Donald Trump up as a role model?==Hiram
There are extremists in all groups of people and religions... As a Christian, I can tell you that a vast number of Christians do not support Trump. :-)
I don't think extremism is the issue. I think an excellent case could be made that Jesus was an extremist. Most of history is the story of Christians trying to rationalize and otherwise walk bank the radical views of Jesus. I was at the bank yesterday, and as always, I thought if they still had money tables, Jesus would overturn them. But there just isn't that much that could be done with a cash machine.==Hiram
I am not a Catholic, but for a long time Bishop Robert Barron has been on my radar. He did a wonderful TV mini series a few years ago called "Catholicism". He is very media savvy, a modern day version of Fulton Sheen. A few years ago he was appointed the bishop of Winona Minnesota, which I thought was very strange, but Popes don't clear personnel decisions with me. Anyway, the other day Bishop Barron appeared at a White House with other religious leaders and President Trump. At that meeting, at great length, one of the other leaders at great length, compared President Trump's various issues to the sufferings of Jesus. Bishop Barron the very embodiment of bland, applauded the comparison. This, in a nutshell, is why the problem with Christianity isn't it's extremism, rather the problem is it's moderation. My next thought was given this pope, instead of becoming a cardinal, Bishop Barron's next post might be in the Aleutians.==Hiram
Yes. There are a lot of sheep in the Christian flock who are willing to be led by wolves. Thankfully shepherd's like Pope Leo try to steer them elsewhere,,,
