I thank God I do not have a bunch of people trying to second guess my emails from last year in an attempt to discredit me... And I am thankful I don't get as many emails each day as Fauci does... :-)

This surprises me, but what we really need is a study of the pandemic. We need to understand what it was, and how we responded to what. We need to start asking those questions we didn't asked when the job was just to save lives.
Republicans are obsessed by emails. As with journalism, they don't understand what they are do, that they are contemporary documents written by people who don't know the future. In the case of Dr. Fauci, they are sifting through documents that they can use to discredit him, and I am sure they will be able to find emails that fit with whatever they want to say.

Unless folks think 600,000 people dying and spending / borrowing $6+ TRILLION was an acceptable performance for the next time it happens...
