My guess is that Democrats have copies of the videos, and that Fox News either knows or suspects that. I think that will limit what they do with the tapes. Meanwhile, Fox News has it's own problems with the texts emerging from the Dominion lawsuit.

A lot of people linked with Trump have refused to provide information about the 2020 election. This is often portrayed as a matter of principle. The idea is that testifying about acts of treason committed by the president in the past, would limit the president's ability to commit treason in the future. But really, it has become clear enough that the reasons why people don't want to tell their story is that the story they have to tell is damaging. This has become apparent even in the early states of the hearings Republicans are now conducting where the most interesting information emerging seems to be damaging to the Republican side.
