For some reason, the expansion of gun rights, coupled with the increase in the numbers of guns, has given the idea that the scope of self defense has also been decreased. People don't think they have to back down from confrontations as much as they once did.

The Right has deemed itself the "victim" so often that they are beginning to behave as trapped rats...
It has to be terrible to be that scared all the time.
