Will the Sandernistas give up their dreams of a candidate who promises political revolution and support one like Clinton who at best offers Democrats business as usual?
Many will of course, for reasons that are pretty obvious. For Hillary, it's a question of whether they can keep them in the system. She is fighting the usual and well known demographic to the effect that young people don't vote. But the suspicion many of us have, is that young people who support Bernie aren't voting either.

The Republicans have a similar problem. The fact is, despite all hysteria, for Republican elites there isn't anything particularly wrong with Hillary. They like her for all the reasons Bernie supporters hate her. And they sense that they can take advantage of her famous fondness for pragmatism. A Hillary candidacy is going to attract a lot of Republican support behind the scenes, especially if Trump is the above the line Republican candidate.
