before long Trump's policies will be negatively affecting millions in various ways. I wonder what percent of Trump voters will turn against him and if it will matter.
Maybe he will try to bail out some red state farmers, but most people harmed will not get assistance.

Well, MAGA folks who are on federal assistance will likely be most impacted.
He seems to be trying to limits his alienating and punishing to DEMS, Minorities, LGBTQ folks, Asylum Seekers, Foreigners, etc.
If the significant downsizing of the fed govt continues a lot of people and companies will be affected, including Trump voters.

The key to success for Trump's tariff policy is to somehow shift the burden of the tariffs onto exporters. It isn't obvious that this will happen, but I saw an extremely complicated paper by one of billionaires explaining how it could happen. I understood nothing of it, but it is there.==Hiram
