Did you go? (I was very overbooked last night.) I would have liked to have gone, because I'm very curious about how declining enrollment and declining property values affect the school levy.
Yes, I went... It was a very useful and informative, but high level, discussion that focused on the state funding formulas and politics.
They said they would post the presentation soon, so I will comment in more detail when I can link to it. Hopefully this week yet.
I'll probably try to learn at little more about the local funding in the mean time. Especially with the state shirking its duty for the next 2 years and the latest "Just The Facts". The ride is going to get bumpy again...
JTF RAS FundingAs usual, my greatest frustration was due to lack of attendance / interest. It was better than many of these events. Maybe ~18 of the ~70,000 RAS citizens attended...
(And no, I am not picking on Christine... I know she is engaged... I am just venting)
