Castro and Clinton probably will keep the factchecker folks busy for a few days, however Michelle rocked.
I really appreciated the commentator that noted that both Mitt and Obama "married up" when they were lucky enough to marry these supportive, intelligent and capable wives.

If I were in charge of things, and given the pretty poor performance, truth-wise, of the Republicans in Tampa, I would go over the speeches pretty thoroughly to eliminate the more disputable claims. But under the rules of balance that afflict journalism, the fact checkers will be obliged to identify some assorted inaccuracies in the Democratic speeches as well.

Remember the old joke that has more than a grain of truth to it.
How do you tell if a politician is lying or "embellishing"?
Their lips are moving...
Here is a link to a bit of New York Times fact checking:

I found the comments on taxes interesting. The Times accuses the Dems of engaging in straw man tactics essentially; imputing things to Romney and others they did not say. But the problem is that the Republicans didn't say much of anything. They did not tell us how they would pay for their tax cuts, in particular. If Democrats don't address the issues the GOP left unaddressed, they will be effectively conceding the various points.
It really isn't disputed at this point (although it may be later on), that the Republican tax plan of tax cuts for the wealthiest among us will have to be paid for by the poor and the middle class. Naturally, the Republicans don't want to say that, but that doesn't give them right to prevent others from pointing out the obvious consequences of their policies, in as an effective way as possible.
