Flint Michigan Water

Well I am back in China again and this is the first hotel where I have been able to access my blogger account.  So for a change of pace, what do you think regarding the Flint disaster?

It's a failure of government at all levels (with the state taking the largest share of the blame) that the original decision to switch the water supply without the necessary precautions was made in the first place, and then they failed to recognize the unfolding disaster as it was happening, and the current efforts to make the residents whole again are completely insufficient.

well said, though I think the people who actually made the decision-- local Democrats-- should get the lion's share of the blame.
