Second Memo Released

The Hill READ: Memo of Trump's first call with Zelensky

Who the FRICK CARES...  I want to hear the actual recording of the call in question...

I don't want some incomplete memo if there is a recording.

I mean how bad is it if Trump is not willing to let us listen to it ?
What Law and Order person would not be demanding the recording?
The GOP apparently is no longer the party of Law and Order. :-(

Trump feels he can get away with stuff because he controls the Justice Department and he knows the Senate won't impeach him. For Trump, it's not about what's right, or for that matter, what's logical or consistent. Rather, it's about what he can get away with.

Trump will be Trump... He has shown NO ability to grow into the position.

He is a living, breathing embodiment of the Peter Principle.

"The Peter principle states that a person who is competent at their job will earn promotion to a more senior position which requires different skills.

If the promoted person lacks the skills required for their new role, then they will be incompetent at their new level, and so they will not be promoted again.

But if they are competent at their new role, then they will be promoted again, and they will continue to be promoted until they eventually reach a level at which they are incompetent.

Being incompetent, they do not qualify to be promoted again, and so remain stuck at that final level for the rest of their career.

This outcome is inevitable, given enough time and assuming that there are enough positions in the hierarchy to which competent employees may be promoted.

The "Peter Principle" is therefore expressed as: "In a hierarchy every employee tends to rise to his level of incompetence."

This leads to Peter's Corollary: "In time, every post tends to be occupied by an employee who is incompetent to carry out its duties."

What bothers me are the tens of millions of GOP voters who do not want to get to the bottom of exactly what he said and did.

In my mind they should be demanding transparency from our elected officials no matter who they are.

Why are they not demanding that Trump and his Cabinet members testify under oath? And release the recording in it's entirety?

Anti-government conspiracy theorists like Jerry have gone silent.

Imagine how he would have howled if Hillary Clinton had refused to testify.

He would have been shouting from the house tops that she was guilty!!!

Now that it is Trump etal who are refusing to be transparent and cooperative... I can hear the crickets chirp.

It seems appropriate for this again...

Trump Stages of Denial. :-)

1.He didn't say that.
2.And if he did, he didn't mean that.
3.And if he did, you didn't understand it.
4.And if you did, it's not a big deal.
5.And if it is, others have said worse."

I had to look twice when I saw this on FOX...

Impeachment hearings confirm Trump’s misconduct, despite his denials

But when you are correct, you are correct...

And speaking of the GOP violating more rules...

VOX How a bad-faith attack on Schiff made its way from Twitter to Trump’s lips Rep. Elise Stefanik is accusing the House intel chair of treating Republicans unfairly, but all he did was try to enforce the rules.

Does the GOP and Trump have anything to offer other than deflection?

Unfortunately I assume the Trump True Believers are brain washed enough to not look under the head lines.
