Trump Admins Early Decisions

Delayed the COVID response.

Remember the old saying. "Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it." :-(
"When Bolton became Trump’s national security adviser in 2018, he quickly moved to disband the White House National Security Council’s Directorate for Global Health Security and Biodefense, which President Barack Obama set up after the 2014-2016 Ebola outbreak to lead federal coordination and preparation for disease outbreaks."

Thank goodness that Jared is on this now, having already fixed the opioid crisis and the Middle East and less than three weeks after it was reported by the NYT that "Kushner considers the problem more about public psychology than a health reality, according to people who have spoken with him."

Jared probably has all the qualifications he needs:
- smart
- organized
- forceful
- trusted by Trump

Having spent most of my life as a project / team manager, I guess I do not care that he is not a Doctor. The question is can he organize, promote communication, reduce chaos, etc?

And I guess I am not going to hold it against him that he has not fixed the Israel / Palestine issue, Opioid crisis, etc...

NYT Kushner Taking Charge

I do wonder though who normally would be trying to work cross functionally for something this big? FEMA director? Maybe name a General to take charge?

Obama's Ebola Czar

He seems similar to Kushner

There's precious little evidence that Jared is smart or organized. In fact, the WaPo detailed this weekend how the Kushner initiatives (remember the Google website that was going to be ready in a couple of days and direct everybody nationwide to testing?) have been distractions to the professionals trying to do their job.

Maybe "Czar's" are unnecessary?

I mean I would think most Czar's would be deemed an interruption.

Good or Bad?
