Trump and Congress

Want to SPEND more.  Now I have been venting about the  HUGE DEFICITS Trump and crew have been generating for years.  But give me a break, another bailout bill?

Are these Idiot Politicians Republicans who believe in small government and letting the markets manage the chaos, or are they actually big government Democrats?

Of course the hypocrisy is that they blamed Obama for big spending in 2009 and they are dwarfing that bailout.  Thoughts?

To some extent, this is a time of national hysteria, and people do say strange things. I have heard Republican complain that Democrats don't want to spend money. We are amused at that. We may quibble a bit about how the money is spent, but in the larger scheme of things we are the ones who will want to spend the money. It's amazing to me that there are Republicans who even for a moment, think otherwise.

GOP turns into BIG spending Liberals

The GOP didn't "turn" into big spenders. They always were big spenders. Their opposition to spending is a political ploy to undermine Democratic administrations, not genuine belief.

Usually they like to spend on Defense, pork projects for their districts, etc.

But in this case they are just borrowing left and right to write low income people and small businesses checks.

It is like they have totally forgotten that they are against welfare spending...

What happened to their mantra of we should not rob Peter to pay Paul?

Well I guess now it is...

Robbing Peter's children and grand children to pay Peter and Paul... :-(

How did we become so selfish?

They aren't against welfare spending. When they have the chance, they never cut it. The couldn't even repeal the ACA. Dude, you've got to leave the talking points behind and face reality.
