Rupert Murdoch's NY Post Understands:

"Attorney General Merrick Garland’s raid on Mar-a-Lago has ex-President Donald Trump back in the news. That’s a problem for Republicans, who need to move beyond him," argued the tabloid, owned by Rupert Murdoch's News Corp.

The editorial said the current dynamics "should make for a Republican landslide" in the 2022 midterm elections.

But if the focus is on Trump instead, enraged Democrats will unite, pause their intercine warring while independents will abstain or vote against the GOP," the NY Post wrote.

In the tabloid's view, "most Republicans would rather the ex-president go away."

"Those GOPers know Trump’s already an albatross: His “stolen election” derangement in late 2020 is why Dems control the Senate now, and his endorsements in this year’s primaries have helped saddle Republicans with enough weak Senate candidates this year that retaking the chamber seems increasingly out of reach," the NY Post wrote. "Plus, for all the tens of millions Trump has raised since leaving the White House, he hasn’t yet spent any of it even to help the candidates he’s endorsed."

Now when will the responsible conservative citizens stop supporting liars and criminals?

And go back to keeping the government out of personal decisions..

Loan Forgiveness Unfair?

 According to Sen Blunt.  And I am undecided if that is the main problem with the policy.

I mean most of what the government spends money on is "unfair" to some group.  I mean is it fair:

• to city folk that farmers get subsidized crop insurance?
• to farmers that city folk build and subsidize light rail?
• to wealthier tax payers that poor people are given welfare payments?
• to renters that home owners get a tax write off?
• to workers that owners get to write off depreciation early?
• to pacifists that tax dollars are spent killing people?
• etc, etc, etc...

Though I am against loan forgiveness...  It has more to do with personal responsibility and my fiscal conservative beliefs than fairness...  I mean:

• They promised to pay back the money + interest.  So do it.
• Their debt is just going to get added to the National Debt, which is going to doom the country someday.

Of course, Conservatives are the biggest hypocrite in the area. They are moaning about helping lower income folks with their school debt...  While supporting unpaid for tax cuts, wasteful PPP and other bailouts during the Trump years.

Most folks will point at THEM... :-(  Even as WE keep demanding lower taxes and higher spending. :-O 

Therefore stealing from the futures of our children.  Personally I think the Boomers and Gen X are some of America's least responsible citizens ever...  Give me mine and screw the country / world when I am gone. :-O

Trump vs Clinton FBI Search

 GOPers Hypocritical Again.  And Hillary appears to be enjoying their stupidity.

If you do not remember, these same GOPers were demanding that the FBI search Hillary's private parts to look for confidential files.  And now they are crying foul as the FBI searches Trumps home, even though it was proven that he had taken other documents with him that he should not have.

Ship Them to Sanctuary Cities

I kind of agree with the TX Governor.  If certain states and cities are against deporting people who are in the USA without the proper paperwork, then I guess it does make sense to send all of those folks to those states and cities.

And apparently the Washington DC mayor asked for Federal help...

He finally admitted that Sandy Hook was a real massacre.

I hope this is just the beginning of liars having to pay for the damage they are causing to citizens and our country.

Kansas Votes for Personal Freedom

by voting down a proposed change to their constitution.  Maybe there are some Republicans who actually believe in personal freedoms and a small unobtrusive government? :-O

Just a reminder, 60+% of Americans believe abortion should be legal to some degree.

Now if we could get the politicians to protect those freedoms nationally.

Shiller PE Ratio

I keep wanting to believe the that stocks have bottomed, unfortunately I think we are still experiencing Sucker's Rallies"... :-(  The Shiller PE Ratio is another indicator that things will get worse before they get better.  Only time will tell.
