The Rule of Law

I think Trump seems to be having a real hard time understanding that he is not the Emperor of the USA...  And that our system of checks and balances is there for a very good reason.
CNN Trump Insults a Federal Judge
MSN Trump Continues to Assail Judge

He puts out a half baked and questionable executive order, and instead of admitting it...  He insults a Federal Judge that was nominated by a GOP President.  And then tries to pawn off the responsibility for any potential issues on the Judge.

He is sounding a lot like a self centered CEO.  Claiming accolades when things go well, and blaming others when he fails.

For such a litigious guy, Trump seems to have know idea how courts and the law works. He sees lawyers as people to give orders to, and not people from whom to receive advice. It makes one wonder if any of those military schools he was packed off to as a child taught ninth grade civics.

Now that is scary... Next you will be saying "Hail Trump"...

Remember what I noted over at the System Works...

"Doesn't it scare you in the least that Trump is using the same tactic as the Nazis?
Lugenpresse was a term most famously used by Adolf Hitler. Apparently it means "Lying Press"." Wiki Lying Press

And just imagine what you would have thought or said about people who said...

"Hail Obama"

We do have a system of checks and balances. What that can mean is that when one of the branches of government becomes dysfunctional, the balance will be restored when the other two branches take over it's functions. Congress has come close to no longer functioning. Instead of engaging in legislative activity, the typical congressman practically of his time fundraising for the next election. Trump promised an immediate repeal of Obamacare, but despite his party controlling both houses of Congress for years, it's clear enough that congress has no idea of how to do it or what to replace it with.

Concerning national security, I don't necessarily have problem with the president issuing execuitve orders to respond to a crisis. But is there a crisis? Is is necessary for Donald to respond to it? Despite his party's control of both houses of Congress, Trump issued his orders immediately. He doesn't seem to be able to provide any reason or any evidence as to why they are necessary. He is a man who has made a career of lying, who is asking us to take his word for stuff. Is it any wonder he is having trouble with the courts?

Is the conversation over? According to Godwin's law it is.

If you want to continue you will need to explain why it is OK for the press to lie and cover FOR Obama, while lying AGAINST Trump. And why it should not be confronted for what it is.

Please provide some specific examples of each. Lies to help Obama and Lies to harm Trump. I would love to do some research to determine if it is true or if it is just another Conservative conspiracy theory like the Birther movement.

As for Godwin's Law, even boring old me can see that attacking the free press is common thread between the 2 methodologies.

Preferably they common from one of the news sources with a "C" rating from All Sides. Since we know that publications on the right and left tend to be more creative.
