Trump Frustrated Again

It will be very interesting to see what Mueller's probe accomplishes in the end.  For now it seems to be causing our President considerable frustration.  Of course if he has nothing to hide, I am not sure why he is concerned...

I am curious about what is covered under Lawyer Client privilege.  I mean if they find that Trump paid Cohen ~$130,000 right about the time Stormy was paid $130,000 is that privileged information.  I would not think so?

I think Mueller will be fired. Trump doesn't really have an alternative at this point. There will be a firestorm of criticism, but it isn't easy to foresee a secenario in which he is removed from office or forced to resign.

A lawyer can't conspire with his client to commit a crime, and any communications in furtherance of a crime are not privileged. That's what Trump has to worry about right now. He must be thinking about what he might have said to his attorney.

A real problem here, is that Trump is involved in a criminal investigation at a very high level. He is up against extraordinarily capable attorneys who have virtually unlimited resources. This would be among the worst nightmares for even an honest person, and really, do any of us think deep down that Trump is an honest person? In response, Trump is in desperate need of the highest quality of white collar criminal defense attorney that there is. He doesn't have this, and that fact has huge implications in many different ways. One of the things that means that he is flying blind in areas where he is weakest and most vulnerable. To put it simply, he doesn't know if he committed a crime, and he doesn't know what Mueller has on him. It's hard even to grasp the disastrous implications of this. In the private sector, a man in Trump's position would have resigned, or more likely, have been fired, giving him the time he would need to prepare his defense. That isn't in the cards here.

CNN Explanation of Attorney Client Privilege

As others have suggested, if one wants to claim attorney client privilege, it's not a good idea to say that one has nothing to do with the guy one claims to be one's attorney. And I don't think there is such a thing as fixer-client privilege.
