Cost and benefits...

Are we back to the question of what a human life is worth? And who should pay how much to save it?

strib editorial should start publishing negative numbers. Between the vast number who will lose their insurance, or be forced out because of higher costs, or be unable to find care because doctors and hospitals refuse Obamacare, and the inevitable rationing, people WILL die before their time.

Has anybody noticed yet that 36 states do not legally qualify for any subsidies at all? Or that the subsidies are only budgeted for one year? Or that the system for verifying subsidy eligibility on healthcare.gov isn't working (again, according to law, and is being ignored, in violation of the law)? How about the fact that some 80-90% of those who have signed up through the state exchanges aren't getting Obamacare, but Medicaid, which they could have gotten without Obamacare?

on a separate, but slightly related topic, it seems Dayton/dfl policies here lead to better economic results than Walker/conservative policies in Wisc.
