Do you think he would hide documents? Of course he would, this is the same guy who:
- fought to keep them secret
- fought against testifying under oath
Definitely not what I expect from a public servant.

Ironic... Now it is the DEMs in a panic...
Sandy Berger got a $50,000 fine, two years of probation, had to do 100 hours of community service, lost his security clearance and was facing disbarment for taking five copies of a single classified document. What does 15 boxes at that rate equal?
Interesting comparison
I am a little puzzled though. Were the 15 boxes created while he was working at Mar-a-Lago and just not sent to Washington DC?
Or were they secret documents removed from a controlled space in Washington DC?
Not so much panic as bemusement.
As a successful white collar criminal, Trump was very aware of the importance of not leaving a paper trail. That's why he didn't use email, it's why he didn't allow notes to be made in crucial meetings. It's why he tore up documents. Trump took advantage of the widespread belief out here in the world that if there is no evidence of something happening, then it didn't happen. I don't know why people believe this but they do.
My understanding is the documents were removed from the White House.
