Hopefully God judges the enablers harshly when they appear at the pearly gates.  I can already hear their justifications for supporting easy non-documented access to semi-automatic weapons. :-O

• I wanted it in my collection
• I needed the AR15 in my house in case there was an intruder
• I did not want to register my weapons
• I did not want guns taken from dangerous / unstable people
• I need the hand gun to protect myself from a sniper... 

Then hopefully Saint Peter laughs sadly and pushed the down elevator.

regarding social media and screen time?  That has to be one of the dumbest laws I have heard of.  I mean how exactly are the social media companies going to know the age of the person applying?  How are the "parents" going to approve?

I am not sure when the GOP started letting parents off the hooks for being parents...  If you don't want your kids on their devices, take them away, install spyware, etc...  Don't ask the government and companies to do your job. :-O 

What is Woke?

"2017 Merriam-Webster added “woke” to the dictionary, defining it as applying to those who are “aware of and actively attentive to important societal facts and issues (especially issues of racial and social justice).”  

But, of course, that’s not how DeSantis and other conservatives use the word. They’ve turned “woke” into the latest in a string of meaningless, pejorative terms — “liberal,” “politically correct,” “cancel culture” — to cover anything progressives believe in, from racial justice to climate change. " 

Someone close me accused me of being "WOKE"..  Of course I then asked them what exactly that meant and they struggled...  I mean if it means:

• Being aware that human actions are having a negative impact on our Earth, and that we really should make steady changes.  Especially if the population is going to keep growing.
• Citizens, not politicians, should make decisions with their doctors.  Be it regarding abortion, sexuality, birth control, end of life, etc.
• Citizens of all races and religions should be treated with respect and fairness.  People and officers who fail to do this should be punished. No one should fear for their safety due to their skin color, sexual orientation, religion, etc)
• LGBTQ children do exist and they should be treated with respect, not bullied told that they they are aberrent, sinful, broken, etc.

then I guess I am WOKE...  Thoughts?
