To Match What People Paid for. That is what I support.
2033 / 4 is coming quick... Trust funds will be broke and FICA contributions will only pay 75% of what people are receiving.
Not sure what Trump wants to cut?

Republicans who cut taxes tell me we can't pay our debts. They put a billionaire in the White House who pays only 750 dollars a year only in years he pays taxes at all. Pardon me, if I am not impressed with claims of an inability to pay the for entitlements.

Maybe you should read the Trustee report then
Unlikely...
Current citizens want more than they are willing to pay for.
Or can pay for, and that's the problem. We can't pay for medical care on our own. So what does that mean? How do we reduce the cost of health care? Why aren't we having that conversation? President Trump wanted to reduce the cost of drugs by 75%. Is that something we want to do?

You gave credibility to something Trump said... :-O
We can reduce healthcare costs in many ways...
Unfortunately most of them are not popular with someone...
The fastest way is to stop spending millions of dollars on desperate end of life care...
A practical idea unless you are the one hoping for the miracle...
Yes, basically the key to reduction of health care costs and indeed other government costs is to stop funding old people. It surprises me that more Republicans don't put that on their campaign literature.

Actually it is to stop spending so much on people who live high risk life styles...
And when an old person nears death... Let them die without spending millions trying to buy them another few years.
