Raising social involvement, self awareness and self improvement topics, because our communities are the sum of our personal beliefs, behaviors, action or inaction. Only "we" can improve our family, work place, school, city, country, etc.

For me, of course, the choice is pretty obvious. Peggy supports policies that benefit Minnesotans. Tafoya doesn't, which is why here campaign is empty of content. Fraud is the issue that Minnesota Republicans are campaigning on and the fact that Peggy didnt' do enough to stop it borders on the indisputable. In effect, she largely disappeared from the issue for the last several years. I can't and won't defend that. But the job she is running for is the the United States senator. The integrity issue there is the total corruption of Donald Trump, his family, and his administration. If elected, Michele Tafoya will do everything in her power to stop those investigations. Is that what Minnesotans want?==Hiram
Tafoya

So does she support Trump's tariffs? Does she favor lower interest rates? Will she support investigations into Trump and his family.
Health care is a fun one for me, because she seems to support everything and nothing and whatever is left in the middle. We can save money on health care. Anyone who spends more than ten minutes in a doctor's office can tell you that. The question is, do we want to save money on health care? Do we want to spend less money on the waste that makes health care so pleasant and convenient?==Hiram
I will need to do more research before election day.
The most important consideration is do you want the Senate Dems to be able to investigate Trump's corruption over the next two years. Maybe Dems in the majority in the senate will somewhat limit the further damage Trump can do to the country. Laurie
I have been talking a lot about this in recent days and weeks. I won't defend the DFL record on fraud in Minnesota. We failed, and I personally have had words with my elective officials on this. It has been a cause for shame.
Nevertheless, and of course, there would be a nevertheless, elections are about the future. The fact is, and I believe this is as close to indisputable as anything in politics, is that the Trump administration is corrupt. Openly, and unashamably corrupt. Corrupt in a way that in unparalleld, in our history. Corrupt as a philosophy of government. So the issue is who we should send to Washington. Someone we can't count on who will work to investigate and expose the corruption and maybe do something about it. Or the candidate who will do everything she can to stop any effort to deal with the corruption that is manifest to all. To me, the choice is obvious and simple. I am voting next week and then going out for pizza.==Hiram
Yes. That is the only reason I would vote for the flaming Liberal... :-)
