Without requiring equal expectations. :-O Jerry's dream has come true in Iowa. The state is going to use tax payer funds to subsidize people who want to send their kid's to religious and other private schools.
And those schools will be allowed to cherry pick only the best students and families. They can turn down special needs, troubled and other children. Therefore the traditional schools will lose funding and good families / kids. And the poor / unlucky families and kids will suffer. Oh well...

Of course on the other hand... Our idiot Governor wants to give schools and parent(s) more money with no additional expectations / accountability... 🙁

Why do you call Walz an idiot?
Because we have proven over and over that just throwing money at the problem does not solve it. The money must come with expectations and accountability.
Otherwise the money will be claimed and spent by adults... And the kids will continue to suffer and fail...
Only an idiot gives people with a poor performance history more money, without requiring improvement plans, reward and defined consequences.
Have you heard Walz discuss parental, teacher or social worker accountability in anyway?
How do you see giving these people more money closing the achievement gap?
