Its hard to see how this shutdown ends. Maybe the GOP will get rid of the filibuster. Seems more likely than negotiating with Dems about more healthcare funds. Laurie
What I am thinking is that Trump isn't interested in negotiating a settlement. He will govern by executive order. He is doing things Democrats can't compromise on, things on which we must be rigid, like laying off and firing workers. In doing that he is either foolish, or not interested in dealing with us. Without a judicial system, willing to challenge him, I don't know what there is to stop him.==Hiram
