Politicians are at greater risk. Minnesotans know that better than anyone. The fact is, our politics is running hot. When we see a fire, it's our impulse to pour fuel on it. When an elected official is attacked, the first thing we do is look to their politics as if evil had a party, or worse, that it is exclusive to the party other than my own. I think we should make the choice not to do that. We don't have to view these acts of violence in the partisan terms they don't deserve. We are different from each other. We are partisan. But we should never allow any of that to divide us.==Hiram
Unfortunately some politicians seize on the acts of the mentally ill to raise the temperature even further... :-O :-(
