Things will certainly be exciting for us bloggers during the coming years...
I especially like the Suck It Up Buttercup proposed law. Especially if it would allow us to toss anyone into jail who blocks a freeway, access to a police station, etc... Preferably for weeks... Not hours...
Please feel free to protest... Just don't infringe on the freedoms of your fellow citizens.

Isn't it already illegal to block a freeway?
Must not be much of a penalty... The BLM protestors seem to like to do it often.
Peaceful assembly is a guaranteed Constitutional right, as is free speech. But the whole idea of civil disobedience was that you deliberately break an unjust law, go to jail and use the resulting moral authority to get the law changed. The current wave of "break things and demand change" flips that sensible, peaceful process on its head, and should not be tolerated. Doing so only encourages repetition. I say break out the water cannons, give fair warning, and then arrest anybody walking away wet.
