What to do about Billionaires?

I am not a big gap guy. That's because gaps are two issues masquerading as one. Achievement gap? Are some people achieving too little or are other people achieving too much? Wealth gap? Is the problem that some people are too poor or other people too rich? And it is often, if not always the case that people are on one side of the gap are there for reasons that have nothing to do with why people are on the other side of the gap. Things are often different, but rarely mirror images of each other.

Billionaires, as such, are not the problem. For one thing, the reason why they are billionaires isn't the result of a zero sum game. Bill Gates isn't a billionaire because he took money from poor people, it's because he owns a big portion of a company people think is valuable. It's a matter of perception although the perception itself is very real. You can take it market and sell it for real dollars.
