The upside of the situation is that Republicans found someone they could elect. The downside is that the person they chose isn't someone they can take out in public.

Biden will get the nomination, no doubt. The intriguing question for me is when and how Republicans and Trump will have their Gotterdammerung.
Former gubernatorial candidate, Scott Jensen tried to both sides this issue the other day. Both siderism is almost always wrong, and it is wrong in this case. Things are going rather normally in these abnormal times for Democrats. They chose a middle of the road guy who was not ridiculous for president. It is the Republican party which is not functioning.

Sorry... But Biden is simply TOO OLD for another 4 years...
And that going to worry a LOT of voters.
Biden isn't that much older than Trump. And he doesn't have Trump's cognitive difficulties.
