A lot of people don't believe in democracy. As a friend of mine says that where the Bill of Rights is concerned, the second amendment is the only one that's popular. Lots of people were really okay with the Trump presidency despite the fact he lost the popular election. And many of those still think Trump should be president despite losing the second election by substantially more votes than he lost the first.
